County Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces New Web
Site
www.preblecountypassport.com That’s your ticket to
all things Preble County, Ohio. The web site created by
the Preble County Convention & Visitors Bureau features
the county’s eight historic covered bridges, including a
downloadable informational brochure, as well as
information about upcoming events in Preble County.
Also included are a “Feature of the Month” (currently
Fort St. Clair Park in Eaton, Ohio, the county seat) and
a “Did You Know?” column (currently exploring the
history of the Underground Railroad in Preble County).
The tab for “Things to Do” links visitors to antiques
shops, camping, history, restaurants and overnight
accommodations, golf courses and other recreation sites,
the local zoo, area festivals, geo-caching sites, and
the ghost trail. Future additions will include
information about health care resources, public safety,
post offices, meeting venues, and other information that
may be helpful to visitors and event planners.
The site also provides links to many countywide
resources such as the Preble County District Library,
The Preble County Historical Society, the Preble County
Council on Aging, the Preble County Fine Arts Center,
the Preble County Fairgrounds, and the county commission
and various towns and villages throughout the county.
The Preble County Convention & Visitors Bureau also has
a new Facebook page and invites you to visit the page
and LIKE it!
